Offtide Privacy Policy

Offtide is built to help you spend less time on your phone, not to collect data about you.

What we collect

Nothing. Offtide has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We do not operate servers that receive your data, and we do not share data with third parties.

What stays on your device

Your sessions, urge logs and settings are stored only on your iPhone. If you use iCloud or computer backups, Apple may include this data in your device backup under Apple's own privacy policy.

Apple Intelligence

On supported devices, offline activity ideas and Offtide+ weekly reflections are generated by Apple's on-device language model through the Foundation Models framework. Your preferences and activity are processed locally and are never sent to us or any third party.

Purchases

Offtide+ is sold through the App Store as an optional auto-renewing subscription or a one-time purchase, and you can also leave an optional tip. Apple processes every payment under its own privacy policy; we never receive your payment details or Apple Account information. The app only asks StoreKit, on your device, whether you have Offtide+.

Widgets and Live Activities

To show your progress in widgets and your countdown on the Lock Screen, Offtide shares a small summary (today's offline minutes, your goal, your streak and any session in progress) with its own widgets through storage on your iPhone. It never leaves your device.

Notifications

If you allow them, Offtide schedules local notifications on your device. No push notification service is used.

Deleting your data

You can erase everything at any time from Settings → Erase All Data in the app, or by deleting the app.

Children

Offtide does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
